Bramha Sun City

Bramha Sun City is a one of its kind society located at Wadgaon sheri,Pune.It is famous for its amenities-101 as the adverts say although not all are functional yet. Like many outsiders who live towards this side of the town,even I was attracted by the amazing gym,the 3 swimming pools and all the outdoor and indoor games facility set up at the club house. The flats however are very compact and there's a lot of wastage in terms of space. Also the electric points given in the flat are absurd.For e.g. a point for the microwave near the sink,etc. Now I am talking about the Phase 1 flats however they have improvised in the Phase 2 which they call Platinum or Signature Homes but the prices are exhorbitant too.

When I moved in to the society almost a year back,they were charging 100Rs.per person towards the utility charges of the club house.Since April 2010,they have increased this amount only for tenants to 500Rs.per person.The argument would be that it is still a meagre amount considering the number of amenities you get to use.But my question is that "Are the amenities being maintained well enough to even charge any untility charge over and above the maintenance charges?"The A.C. in the Gym does not work,the treadmills have been out of order since a week,the cycle doesn't function,the coaches are never inside the gym but loitering around somewhere in the Club House,the steam and sauna changing rooms do not function,the gents changing room near the swimming pool does not have hot water, just to name a few issues. Oh yes,the Club Manager is never in his office or available in the premises when you need to raise a complaint.

The menace of stray dogs is such that every day I need to ensure that my son is not left unaccompanied in the park.The security is appalling with the guards not moving their butts from their seats.The housekeeping is so horrible that the floors of the building corridors are not swept for days together.The guards do not switch on the building lights until 7 pm or later and have to be reminded that its dark enough. Security guards are not even aware of the visitor's car parking area due to which visitors park their cars in any vacant resident's parking area.And all this when even the society is not formed and the maintenance is still with the builder.

My advice to those who are considering to rent or buy here would be to reconsider these points before you agree on paying hefty rents/monies towards the flat here.It is not worth the money especially the way it is marketed for its amenities and facilities,definitely not worth it!!
